What we collect

This website does not require accounts and does not ask you to submit personal information to read our content. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message, and we use it only to respond to you.

Hosting and technical data

The site is hosted on Vercel, whose infrastructure automatically processes standard technical data (such as IP addresses and request logs) to serve pages securely and reliably. We do not use this data to identify individual visitors.

Cookies and analytics

We do not run advertising trackers. If we enable privacy-respecting analytics to understand which guides are useful, the data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.

Third-party embeds

Pages on this site may embed content from third parties, such as Google Maps. When an embed loads, the third party may set cookies or collect technical data under its own privacy policy. See Google's privacy policy for details on how Google Maps handles data.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you (for most visitors, that is nothing). To make a request, contact us.
